Chris Buncic
President & CEO
Mr. Buncic is an accomplished executive with over 24 years in a diverse career that spans senior roles in the mining industry and capital markets. He was most recently a co-founder and CEO of Alto Verde Copper Inc., a private exploration company focused on copper assets in Chile that was last year acquired by Interra Copper Corp. Prior to that he was President and CEO of Ascendant Resources Inc. where the team acquired and restored profitability to the operating El Mochito mine in Honduras and greatly advanced the exploration efforts of the Lagoa Salgada project in Portugal. In his career, he has raised substantial capital across the capital structure, and has served on several boards of TSX, TSXV and CSE-listed companies. Prior roles saw him in Institutional Equity Research at several leading Canadian independent full-service brokerage firms. Mr. Buncic is a CFA Charterholder, has an MBA from Schulich School of Business and B.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto.
Ever Marquez Amado
Vice President Exploration
Mr. Marquez is an exploration geologist with a brilliant 26 year career in mineral exploration. He joined Condor from Newmont Peru Limited, where he held the position of Senior leader Exploration Geologist for the Andes of South America, and was recognized by Newmont as the recipient of their prestigious and highest global distinction “Exploration 2006 Discovery Recognition Award” for his discovery of the Breapampa-Andrea high grade gold-silver mine in southern Peru. His track record is an impressive one. He was also part of the discovery team of the Rio Blanco Cu-Mo porphyry deposit in Peru for Newcrest Mining. A Peruvian national, Mr. Marquez obtained his Engineering Geology degree from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima. In addition to Peru, Mr. Marquez has worked extensively along the Andes in Chile, Argentina, Ecuador and the US, and brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Condor Resources team.
Graham H. Scott
Corporate Secretary and Director
Mr. Scott is Senior Counsel at Lawson Lundell LLP, and the former principal of VECTOR Corporate Finance Lawyers. Mr. Scott practices corporate and commercial law, with emphasis on securities law and mining law. He represents many Canadian public companies which are listed on the TSX and TSX Venture Exchanges, in addition to clients in the corporate finance business. Called to the bar in 1981, Mr. Scott is listed as “consistently recommended” in the area of Mining in LEXPERT.CA, a directory of Canadian lawyers based on a survey of the legal community. In addition, he is listed in The International Who’s Who of Mining Lawyers published by London-based Law Business Research Ltd.
Jonathan Younie
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Younie has been the Principal of Copsewood Capital Corp., a Corporate Finance and Accounting firm since 2020. Mr. Younie has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting field and corporate and regulatory operations, and has acted as both an officer and director of a number of publicly listed companies on both the TSX Venture Exchange and the CSE.
